For many years the Air Jordan 2 has been overlooked, ignored and made fun of. Ask a sneaker enthusiast his or her favorite Air Jordan silhouette and the II will rarely be named.
With the irelease of the Off-White x Air Jordan 2 a sudden interest in the model has arisen via shallow and fleeting hype, as it now seems to be the sneaker version of the Jet “Beauty of the Week.”
Union , having most recently collaborated with Jordan Brand on several Jordan colors of the Jordan 4 that were average at best, has once again with the Jumpman, this time putting their spin on two pairs the Air Jordan 2.
One pair makes use of a grey fog/siren red-light smoke grey, while the other in a rattan/siren red-beach-orange peel. Both looks will feature combination nylon and suede uppers with added perforations on the lateral and medial overlays. Branded tags are present on the collar and under the eyelets on the lateral side.
A white midsole and grey rubber outsole are found underneath the aforementioned upper.
Both colourways of the Union x Air Jordan 2 are planned to make their retail debuts i the spring of 2022 at nike.com and select retail establishments; they will carry a 225 USD sticker price.
